Mentor Week by guest blogger Millawn O.

Millawn Oliver is a high school senior and APC resident. During her summer vacation, she was an intern at the APC Service Center. Her responsibilities included producing the monthly resident newsletter, and generating content that would help foster community among teens in the community. APC celebrates opening of new education center

In 2015, the APC Children & Youth Services’ Education Center which provides after-school programming, is no longer a one-room schoolhouse! Education Center staff hosted a grand opening celebration of their new and spacious home on January 14, 2015 for APC families and community supporters. APC kids are equipped 4 success

It’s that time of year again! The leaves start to turn gold and brown, there’s a nice breeze out and parents are rejoicing while children…are maybe not as excited as their parents. It’s back-to- school time and that means new teachers, new lessons and school gear.  Of course, that also means it’s time for the annual, Equipped 4 Success, school supply drive.
