Employment is an essential component to maintaining long-term housing stability. To help its residents find meaningful employment, APC offers a variety of services to help its residents develop the skills and habits to make them highly attractive candidates to potential employers.
Real Life Work Experience
APC’s On-the-Job (OJT) training program includes a 20-hour work readiness curriculum as well as employment opportunities. APC hires up to 12 residents, known as OJTs, per six month cohort. The OJT training program focuses on functional employment readiness skill building while working on an APC job site.

- APC Delivery/Transportation
- Children and Youth Program Assistant
- Ploughshares Nursery Customer Service
