Alameda Point Collaborative is now a site for free breakfast and lunch during the summer

Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) has partnered with the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) to offer free breakfast and lunch on weekdays from Monday, June 26, 2017 to Friday, August 11, 2017. All school-aged youth from five to 18 years old are eligible to participate in the program. Breakfast will be served between 9 am and 10 am and lunch between 12 noon and 1 pm. Any time after these hours the food will not be available.

A full student lunch includes an entree supplying protein, grain, vegetable, fruit and milk. A cold vegetable/ fresh fruit bar will be available daily on which AUSD will feature a variety of veggies and fruits including locally grown when seasonally available. Each week AUSD will feature deeply coloured, nutrient-rich veggies including red/orange and dark green vegetables, as well as beans and other additional choices.

Please see the  menu  for the breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast and lunch will not be served on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in observance of the Fourth of  July holiday.
