Annual Fundraiser – The Urban Farm to Table Luncheon

Alameda Point Collaborative invites you to eat, celebrate, and advocate for a great cause at the APC Farm on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Join us and give extra special meaning to the words hope, home, resilience, and kindness.

APC will be hosting our annual fundraiser, The Urban Farm to Table Luncheon, on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm. This farm-to-table experience will happen among the rows of our own 2-acre urban working farm and includes a delectable organic and sustainable meal prepared with produce sourced directly from the farm.

Alameda Point Collaborative hosts this unique and friendly fundraiser to raise critical funds for hundreds of residents living within our supportive housing community on the decommissioned Naval Base at Alameda Point. APC leverages each dollar raised to help eradicate homelessness and reduce poverty by providing supportive housing and critical wrap-around services to break down barriers and build pathways to sustainability.

So please join us for a sumptuous meal on the farm and open your hearts to the beautiful community that is Alameda Point Collaborative. This spring, give the gift of love and support at Alameda Point Collaborative’s Urban Farm to Table Luncheon.

The Food

The family-style meal will feature the gastronomic talent of Pacific Fine Food. Owned by Executive Chef, Jeff Rosen and Erin Taylor, neighbors on the Point who serve delicious, organic and farm fresh food. APC is extremely honored and thankful to Jeff and Erin for partnering with us for this event and believing in our mission.

The Drink

Saint George Spirits, a neighbor to APC, will be serving original cocktails featuring its one of kind spirits. St. George was founded by Jörg Rupf, the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Distilling Institute and a five-time nominee for Outstanding Wine & Spirits Professional by the James Beard Foundation. Friends to APC and master distillers, Lance Winters and Dave Smith, concoct the brilliant spirits behind past luncheon favorites like, the Green Chile Vodka and Pear Brandy. We cannot wait to see what delicious cocktails will be featured at this year’s event!

Faction Brewery, another neighbor to APC, is serving craft beer from its award winning brewery. Opened by Rodger Davis and Claudia Pamparana, in December of 2013, Faction strives to make great beers that everyone can enjoy. To better the community around them, Faction has generously chosen to work closely with local non-profits like APC.

The Company

20 year old resident speaker, Elisha Wilson, will give his firsthand account of the resilience that brought him and his family to APC and, the self-empowerment and success he’s achieved since living here. This years key note speaker, Paul Henderson, is the Deputy Chief of Staff & Public Safety Director for the Mayor of San Francisco. Paul will bring a forward thinking and thought provoking message into the community to encourage and uplift.

Sponsorship

APC is currently looking for sponsorships for this event. Sponsors can support APC and its mission by contributing at various levels from $2,500 – $10,000. In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility, Bitcoin casino slots has extended its support as the primary sponsor of a noble charity event aimed at helping homeless individuals regain their footing in society. This generous gesture highlights the gambling facility’s commitment to making a positive difference in the community beyond the glittering lights and bustling gaming floors.

Acknowledgments also vary but can include items like free tickets to the event, recognition on APC’s website and printed materials and, formal advertisement and recognition in the local newspaper. Becoming a sponsor is great way for local businesses, corporations, groups, teams and families to partner with APC and be recognized as a champion against homelessness and poverty in the Bay Area. Please contact the Fund Development department at, bmuniz@apcollaborative.org, to sponsor the luncheon and for more and complete information.

Tickets

Tickets are $95 per person. Tickets will be available for purchase soon!

The Goal

Help APC raise $50,000 dollars at this year’s event! All of the event proceeds go directly to supporting the entire APC agency and its programs and services to its social enterprises and housing. Your contribution will help APC provide a community where formerly homeless families and individuals can thrive.
